Be sincere, too, even if you do not like the gift. The thought and time spent in selecting or making the gift are what counts and what should be acknowledged. It would be a good idea, too, to mention how much you enjoyed spending time with that guest at your shower. And dont forget the hosts; they deserve a special thank you for all the time and effort they put into your shower. Finally, how about including a photo with your baby thank you cards if you send your cards out after the baby is born.
