Traditionally, the newborn's birth is announced by the parents. This represents one opportunity in which you may choose to add a unique touch. Do you have a favorite family pet? You may choose to have Fred the goldfish or Rover the dog announce the birth of your baby. Does your newborn have older brothers or sisters? Having the baby's brothers or sisters announce the birth allows the siblings to get involved in the excitement. You may even choose to have the baby announce his or her own birth.
